Prides Mission of Development and Growth

At Pride Lending, we’re committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity, empathy, and empowerment. We’re on a mission to empower underserved communities and help them achieve homeownership through accessible and equitable mortgage solutions. If you're passionate about making a real impact, we’d love to have you on our team.

Mission Statement Development

Andrew is working through the nuances of defining a mission statement that truly reflects his vision. He has identified two core objectives: increasing queer homeownership and enhancing diversity within the mortgage industry. For him, these are the primary pillars guiding Pride Lending. Currently, Pride Lending uses the external tagline, "Empowering Underserved Communities," but Andrew recognizes the complexities in language. He feels that certain terms, like "underserved," may not fully capture the experiences of marginalized groups, as these communities might be more accurately described as overlooked or disenfranchised. Finding language that aligns with his mission without unintended connotations is a priority, and he’s exploring options that clearly express both inclusion and empowerment.

Andrew is also considering having both an internal mission statement for the team and a more concise, slogan-style version for external use. He believes philanthropy will remain central to Pride Lending's mission, envisioning community support through homeownership and financial assistance that genuinely uplifts the LGBTQIA community.

Growth Goals

Andrew’s target is to reach $1 billion in loan volume within the next five years. Achieving this milestone would significantly expand Pride Lending’s capabilities, positioning the company to become a correspondent lender, which offers enhanced opportunities to reduce interest rates for clients. Increased loan volume would also provide access to larger warehouse lines, ultimately empowering Pride Lending to make a broader, more affordable impact in the communities it serves.
